🤔Do you know about Google Forms?

Google Forms is an online tool that helps you create quizzes, surveys, and forms easily. It also helps to collect information easily and quickly. Let's see how this works and how we can use this in our work.

How to start

As I mentioned earlier, we can use Google Forms to create quizzes, surveys, and forms. Imagine that you are a teacher and want to give some questions after completing a lesson. Instead of printing a paper, wasting time, money, and all, you can use Google Forms to make a questionnaire and ask students to answer it online within a given time. You can collect the results as students finish answering. No need to spend time marking papers. This will save you time and money. So let's see how to make quizzes using Google Forms.

1. To use Google Forms, simply go to https://forms.google.com and sign in with your Google account.

2. Click "+ Blank"  to start a new form.

3. Let's see how to create a question.

● Once you click, you will see a form like this 👇

1 - This is where you type the title of the paper. (E.g.: Monthly Test - English)
2 - Here you can type the description. (E.g., answer all the questions.)
3 - You can select the question type by clicking on this. There are so many options.
4 - After that, you can start typing the question here. (E.g., select the verb.)
5 - If you selected a multiple-choice question type, this is where you should type your answers.
You can add answers as you wish.
6 - Add question
7 - Import question (you can import a question from your Google Drive)
8 - This is for adding the title and description. (It is better to use this before starting to add your first
     question. Not compulsory.)
9 - You can add an image to your question (E.g, How many children you can see in this picture?)
10 - You can add a video to your question.
11 - This is where you can divide your paper into sections. (E.g., after the MCQ questions, you can add
a section and make short answer questions.
12 - If you want to make your question compulsory, turn this on.

👉 At the end of the question, you will see an answer key option. Don't forget to add the answer key to your question. The questions without an answer key won't be graded automatically; you have to review and assign marks manually.

👍 These are the basic things in Google Forms. You can easily make a paper using these instructions. You will find this easier when you become familiar with Google Forms.
You can always preview your paper and check it while you are preparing it. You can find that option at the top right corner (👁).

After making the paper, click "Publish"  👇  and add responders. Then click on "Publish."

Reflective note:

I wrote this article to give a brief knowledge about Google Forms, which is very useful for collecting information from people. This article is a very simple version of how to use Google Forms, and I created this with my own experiences. When I wanted to use Google Forms as a beginner, I found it difficult to work with some tools, so I thought of writing this kind.d of article to help teachers like me. As a teacher, I think this may help lots of teachers to improve their teaching process.
